Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to Harbor Escape, the free browser puzzle game at https://harbor-escape.autorun.fun, including its website, game server and related features (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by the Harbor Escape team ("we", "us").
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By opening or playing Harbor Escape you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please review these Terms with a parent or guardian, who accepts them on your behalf.
2. The Service
Harbor Escape is a free casual puzzle game played in a web browser. We may add, change or remove levels, features and rules, and we may suspend or stop the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, for example for maintenance or if we decide to discontinue the game. We will try to give reasonable notice of major changes, but we do not promise that the Service or any content will always be available.
3. Accounts and optional Google sign-in
- You do not need an account to play. The game creates an anonymous player profile for your browser automatically.
- You may optionally sign in with Google, or use a recovery code, to save your progress and continue on another device. Google sign-in is also governed by Google's own terms. What we receive and store is described in the Privacy Policy.
- Keep your recovery codes to yourself: anyone who has a valid code can move your progress to their device.
- Progress saved only in your browser can be lost if you clear your browser data. We are not responsible for progress lost this way.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts or modified clients to gain an advantage or to obtain rewards you did not earn;
- send fake or automated requests to our server, or try to get around rate limits or other protections;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service, its servers or networks, or other players' use of it;
- access or try to access data or accounts that are not yours;
- copy, modify, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the game, except to the extent the law expressly allows this despite this restriction;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
If you find a bug or a security problem, please tell us at the contact address below instead of exploiting it.
5. Virtual items
Stars earned in levels, harbor decorations, hints, hearts, boosters and any other in-game items or progress are part of the game only. Apart from the items you can buy with Telegram Stars as described in section 6, they cannot be bought; no in-game item can be sold, exchanged or redeemed for money or anything of value, and they are not your property. We may change, rebalance or reset them, for example to fix errors or cheating, but we will not take away items you bought except as described in section 6.
6. In-app purchases (Telegram Stars)
- In the Telegram version of the game you can buy optional items, such as booster packs or the removal of the ads shown between levels, with Telegram Stars. The price in Stars and exactly what you get are shown before you pay, and Telegram handles the payment. The stars you earn in levels are never sold.
- By buying an item you agree to these Terms. Items are added to your game account, which is linked to your Telegram account, after Telegram confirms the payment. They do not expire: boosters stay until you use them, and removing ads is permanent.
- Purchases are final and are not refundable, except when we agree to a refund through our support, when Telegram's rules for Telegram Stars require one, or when mandatory law gives you a right to one. For help or a refund, send /paysupport to our Telegram bot or email [email protected]. Telegram's own support cannot help with purchases made in our bot. Approved refunds go back to your Telegram Stars balance.
- If a purchase is refunded or reversed, we take back what it gave you: a permanent item such as ad removal ends, and boosters you have not used yet are removed (your booster count never goes below zero).
- Telegram Stars are provided by Telegram and are subject to Telegram's own terms. We do not see or store your payment card details.
7. Ads and third-party services
Harbor Escape is free and supported by ads. Rewarded ads are optional: you choose whether to watch one, for example to continue a level. Ads are provided by Google, and the game also relies on other third-party services such as Cloudflare (hosting), Google (sign-in) and DeepSeek (AI analysis of feedback). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for ad content or third-party websites that ads link to. A reward may not be granted if an ad fails to load or is not watched to the end.
8. Intellectual property
The game, including its levels, artwork, sounds, music, text, software and the Harbor Escape name and logo, is owned by the Harbor Escape team or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the game in your browser for your own non-commercial entertainment. All other rights are reserved. You may share links to the game and screenshots or videos of your own play, as long as you do not suggest that we endorse you.
9. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or other feedback (for example with the in-game feedback form), you allow us to use it freely to run and improve the game, without any obligation or payment to you. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential, and do not include personal or sensitive information about yourself or anyone else. Feedback must follow section 4: no spam, abuse, unlawful content or attempts to flood the form (it accepts at most 5 messages per player per hour).
Feedback is processed as described in the Privacy Policy: we keep it for 365 days, and its text, with contact details removed, is analysed by a third-party AI service (DeepSeek, in China) to classify and summarise it for our team. We are not obliged to reply to, act on or keep any feedback.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or that saved progress will never be lost. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Harbor Escape team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, game progress, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the value of the in-app purchases you made in the 12 months before the claim (zero if you made none), or, where the law does not allow that limit, to the smallest amount the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access, or remove your data from our server, if you break these Terms, if needed to protect the Service or other players, or if we discontinue the game. Sections 5, 6 and 8 to 14 continue to apply after termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is based, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Before bringing any claim, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue informally.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell players in the game or on this website before they take effect. If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
